Generations of Trust…Wealth of Experience…since 1984 Education: Barbara Klenovich has been in the financial planning business since 1984. She received her Certified Financial Planner designation in 1988. She graduated cum laude from Regis College with a Bachelor of Science degree. Experience: Besides the years of experience in the financial planning field, Barbara and her husband have owned and sold a business that had 30 employees. This experience helps Barb relate to business owners and all the myriad of problems and solutions that radiate from owning a business with employees. In addition, to business ownership, Barbara and her husband were involved in the nonprofit organization of Campus Crusade for Christ for 16 years. This experience helps Barbara relate to missionaries who raise their own support and the unique perspective of nonprofit organizations. For nine years, Barbara originated mortgage loans. This experience helps her know the different types of mortgage products and what would be a best fit for each client’s situation. She and her husband also went in partnership with friends and purchased a fixer upper home that they sold at a profit. Community A passion of Barbara’s is giving back to the community. She has recently gotten involved in ACTS Community Impact Committee at Woodmen Valley Chapel. This opportunity allows her to be involved in local nonprofit organizations, such as United Way, Salvation Army, Helping Hands Food Pantry and several other local nonprofit organizations. She has donated hours of her time to volunteering with the “Make a difference” month, the Salvation Army Bell Ringers and serving a Christmas meal for the Helping Hands Food Pantry patrons. This program has a monthly and sometimes weekly outreach into the local community. Personal Barbara is married and has two children, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four granddogs, and a grandcat. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren live in Colorado Springs and Denver, so her roots are firmly planted here. Barbara loves to play golf and spend time with her family.
